If you are in the south Florida area this weekend, please come by the mini Odd Duck Retro & Geek show. Even though we called it a "mini" show... it won't be! Rather than have only 10 vendors, we cut the table space in half and doubled the artitsts/crafters/makers. This way we can have everyone showcase their best retro-est or geek-y-est merchandise just for you. The holiday shopping season is here, haven't you seen all the commercials from the big-box stores? Skip all that, come out on Saturday and get some good old-fashioned handmade gifts. Supporting local arts and crafts is a noble thing to do and it is always fun to meet the artist in person.
Wanna know what you'll find at the show? Who you'll find at the show? go here
it will take you to our facebook events page, go ahead and click that you'll be attending. And, for those of you who don't like to use facebook, you can go here to find the info too.
3-9PM Saturday, November 13, 2010 at Gateway plaza (1900 Block of E. Sunrise Blvd) Fort Lauderdale
Odd Duck Bazaar is a two-day event which takes place in spring in downtown Hollywood, Florida. Odd Duck is a strictly handmade, handcrafted, arts & crafts shopping revelry like no other in South Florida. The following the Odd Duck Bazaar blog will provide you with up-to-date event information, occasional DIY projects, and other crafty goodness happening in the indie scene. We also co-host the Hollywood Holiday Market in December!

Day of the Dead celebration in Hollywood Saturday night
Come join the Hollywood Craft Mafia Saturday night for a Day of the Dead live Art and Crafting party! We will have artists creating live for you to watch and for pretty cheap, you can jump in and learn some crafts. You can learn the traditional paper cuts for only $3.00 or decorate your own plush sugar skull for only $6.
There is plenty of free stuff too. Firstly, and most importantly, you can soak up as much art as your eyes can handle (of course, taking the art home isn't free), Mexican munchies and virgin margaritas will be dished out free of charge for your pleasure.
A good time is bound to be had by all, so please, come on out Saturday night.
For Art Sake is located at 2000 Harrison Street, Hollywood (1 block south of Hollywood Blvd, just west of 20th)
