Lookout South Florida! The Hollywood Craft Mafia is rolling full steam ahead in preparation and planning for the 1st ever Odd Duck Bazaar. If you haven't already heard, our indie handmade craft show will be held at the Old Davie Schoolhouse Museum on March 27, 2010.

The deadline to sign up is Nov.15th and everyone will have their gifts in the mail by Dec. 15. The only guidelines is that its handmade by you and supplies cost around 10$, other than that, the sky is the limit!

Vending Possibilities with the Hollywood Craft Mafia!

Looking to make connections? Sell your handmade crafts and art? Make money for the holiday season? Have an amazing time while doing what you love?

Private trunk show hosted by the Hollywood Craft Mafia has a few spaces left for vendors. This is a private, exclusive event. Buyers are invited owners and managers of boutiques and shops within the Fort Lauderdale, Palm Beach and Miami areas. Vendors should be prepared to sell at wholesale prices and take orders for the holiday season.

Trunk show is being held on October 10th at a private residence. If interested, please email info at hollywoodcraftmafia dot com for more info and an application.

The Hollywood Craft Mafia Meetup group is heading out to Undergrounds Coffehaus Saturday, July 25th from 7pm to 1am for some public crafting, exellent coffee, and general hanging out. You should join us, because the only thing better than sewing, beading, painting, or whatever portable craft thing you do, is doing it at Undergrounds.

Trash to Treasure Creative Re-Use Center field trip

The Hollywood Craft Mafia is sponsoring a field trip to check out a really cool spot. Trash to Treasure is a re-use center that collects items from the community and business in order to be re-used. We've never been before, but are very excited about this field trip. They charge a yearly membership but are allowing the Hollywood Craft Mafia and our friends to come for a private tour from 10 to Noon this Sunday.

Craft Supply Swap

We've got another Craft Supply swap coming up! This time it is at the Undergrounds Coffeehaus. Last month we added a new member to the Hollywood Craft Mafia. Alexis is a very talented artisan who makes and sells a variety of great crafts. She makes tattoo inspired jewelry out of hand drawn shrinky-dink plastic, hand paints purses and creates these fantastic lighted shadow boxes with all sorts of artistic features. She is super talented and I'm sure she will keep us in awe with her contribution to this group.
We'll have her put up her own introduction post soon, but right now she is in the last minute prep-zone working on getting ready for a show in Austin, TX this Saturday.
